Eric Dahl is a Nashville-based television host, radio personality, podcast host, music journalist, and author with more than 42 years of experience in media and music journalism. He is the creator and host of Rock & Review with Eric Dahl, a nationally syndicated television show featuring in-depth interviews and stories with musical artists, bands, authors, and documentarians across all genres.

Rock & Review with Eric Dahl launched on FOX 17 News in 2012 and entered national syndication in 2025, now airing in 34 U.S. television markets and reaching over 23.7 million viewers. The show has produced more than 1,165 music-focused segments, highlighting legendary performers and emerging talent from across the music industry.

A lifelong guitarist and songwriter, Dahl gained international recognition in 2009 after purchasing and returning B.B. King’s stolen 80th Birthday “Lucille” guitar. The experience led to his authorized book, B.B. King’s Lucille and the Loves Before Her, later expanded with a foreword by the late Charlie Daniels. In addition to broadcasting, Dahl has published over 10,000 music articles for leading publications including American Songwriter, Guitar World, MusicRadar, Guitar.com, and Collectible Guitar.
